Website terms of use

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Tangly website at tanglyapp.com. By using the website, you agree to them. They're short, and we've tried to keep them plain.

About us

This website is run by Adam Lambe, trading as Tangly, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@tanglyapp.com.

Tangly hasn't launched yet

This website describes an app that is still in development. Features, biomes, plans and prices shown here reflect our current intentions and may change before or after launch. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell you anything, and joining the mailing list or waitlist doesn't create any obligation on either side.

When the app launches, separate terms of service will apply to creating an account, using the app, and buying a paid plan. You'll be asked to agree to those at the time.

Our content

The Tangly name, logo, artwork, illustrations, pixel art, text and design of this website belong to Tangly or are used with permission. You're welcome to view and share links to the website, but please don't copy, reproduce or reuse our content or artwork without our written permission.

Using the website

Please don't misuse the website, including by trying to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or submit someone else's email address to our mailing list without their permission.

Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites and services. We aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law.

Your privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle any personal information you give us through this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any disputes. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
